Vinylize 7" Case

After 7 years of upcycling 7" singles into eyewear cases, we have decided to show you how it's done.

Most of the manufacturing solutions came from everyday household items: blow dryer, sewing machine, tacos... The materials were also accessible: vinyl records, zippers and felt.

After sorting the vinyl, the first step is to heat the outside edge, so the zipper can be sewed on.

A pre-cut felt lined reinforcement polypropeline disk is then riveted to the vinyl.

And finally the whole thing is heated and "tacoed".
